The computer age has granted us more room to be imperfect. With our fingers anchored to the undo hotkey, we are given much more leeway to make mistakes than generations past. This is a good thing, and we are all fortunate to have a way to correct our momentary lapses of failure. I also enjoy digital painting because it allows an artist access to colors without having to spend hundreds of dollars on buying tubes. However, I still believe that an artist should be able to perfect a drawing traditionally before they nestle comfortably in programs like Photoshop and Painter.
